When you compare cycling holidays, prices only make sense if you know exactly what you’re getting. Here is what’s included in a Bike Tours Girona tour, what isn’t, and what a typical day looks like.

Included in every tour

Accommodation

You stay at the boutique Hotel Summum in Monells, a restored 15th-century building 15 minutes from Girona and 15 minutes from the Costa Brava. It’s built for cyclists: locked and monitored bike parking, a self-service workshop, a bike wash area, e-bike charging and early breakfast on request.

Local guides

Experienced cyclists who know every road, track and trail in the region. They set the pace for the group, choose the best stops and adapt the route to conditions.

Support vehicle and navigation

A support vehicle follows the group with water, food and spare parts, and can pick you up if you need a break. Route navigation is taken care of, so you just ride.

Meals

Daily breakfast, plus selected lunches and dinners featuring local Catalan cuisine. Most tours start with a welcome dinner on arrival day.

Optional extras

  • High-end bike rental: road, gravel or mountain bike, set up for you.
  • Custom itineraries: different dates, durations or a mix of disciplines with a custom tour.

Not included

  • Flights and travel to Girona.
  • Travel insurance (we recommend a policy that covers cycling).
  • Meals and drinks not listed in your tour programme.

Ask us about getting from the airport to the hotel when you book.

A typical day on tour

  1. Breakfast at the hotel, early if the stage is long.
  2. Briefing on the day’s route, distance and climbing.
  3. Ride straight from the hotel or a short transfer, with the guide and support vehicle.
  4. Coffee stop in a village, at a summit or by the sea.
  5. Back at the hotel to clean the bike, rest and enjoy dinner.

The last day usually includes a short recovery ride before departure.

Price

Our tours last 5 days and start from €1,990 per person. The final price depends on the tour, the dates and options such as bike rental.
